Cooking Demonstration with Chef Albero
Chef Albero took some time to teach us how to cook some awesome Collard Greens!
- The first thing she did was wash her hands and tie up her hair to create a clean cooking environment.
- To start cooking she heated up some olive oil in her pan on medium heat.When it was hot, she added some fresh garlic. (watch the video at the bottom!)
- Once the garlic cooked a little bit (we don't want to burn it!) she add the Collard Greens.
- After a few minutes of cooking the greens she added some Sea Salt and Black Pepper.
- Once they were wilted and cooked enough, she put them into a serving bowl and added some grated Parmesan Cheese.
- She tasted a little piece before serving to see if it needed any additions. One of the batches needed a little more salt.
- All the students got to try the delicious food!
